Chelsea vs. Hull: Confirmed lineups

Laurence Griffiths/Getty Images

No Thibaut Courtois for the second game running as the Blues look to get themselves back on track in the Premier League -- and we're also missing Cesc Fabregas through suspension as well. Cesar Azpilicueta's absence is more of a mystery (perhaps he's being rested?).

Last time we played Hull at home we ran out 2-0 winners in the opening match of the 2013-14 season. A repeat of that performance certainly wouldn't go amiss today, but we'll take three points more or loss any way we can get them, I suspect...

Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1):
Petr Cech | Filipe Luis, John Terry, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic | Nemanja Matic, Mikel | Eden Hazard, Oscar, Willian | Diego Costa

Substitutes from: Mark Schwarzer, Kurt Zouma, Cesar Azpilicueta, Ramires, Andre Schurrle, Loic Remy, Didier Drogba.

Hull City starting lineup (4-3-3):
Allan MacGregor | James Chester, Curtis Davies, Michael Dawson | Andrew Robertson, Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore, David Meyler, Ahmed Elmohamady | Sone Aluko, Nikica Jelavic

Substitutes from: Eldin Jakupovic, Alex Bruce, Liam Rosenior, Robert Brady, Gastón Ramírez, Stephen Quinn, Abel Hernández.
