Courtois out, Cech in for Hull City clash

On Friday, Jose Mourinho confirmed that Petr Cech will start in goal on Saturday when Chelsea hosts Hull City. He confirmed that his number one, Thibaut Courtois, had suffered a minor injury in training.

"Courtois had a little problem in training, a muscular problem, and he’s not available for tomorrow. Petr Cech had our confidence even when Courtois was playing. We know what we have, he has absolutely nothing to prove."

Luckily, Cech played Wednesday in the Champions League, so he shouldn't be too rusty ahead of an important Premier League clash. It's times like this when I'm truly thankful that the Blues still have one of the top keepers on the planet on their bench.

Mourinho also confirmed that there are no other injuries at the moment, and that the only other player that will be missing on Saturday is midfielder Cesc Fabregas. The Spaniard picked up his fifth yellow of the season against Newcastle, and will be serving a one match ban.
