Diego Costa: 'On the pitch I transform myself because I can't stand losing'

In Mourinho's words, a 'top top top player' who was born in the street (the best academy) and is now leading the line at Chelsea to the tune of 17 unbeaten matches to start the season and 10 Premier League goals in just 9 appearances.

Diego Costa has been here for barely a third of a season, but he's already a Chelsea hero. And not only because of his goal-scoring exploits that made us remember just what it's like to have a proper center forward, but for his attitude on and off the pitch. Off the pitch he seems mellow, humble, dedicated, and apparently a very funny guy. On the pitch, he's a growling lunatic who gets under opponents' skins while scoring important goals game after game after game after...
