Cesc Fabregas an injury doubt for Chelsea's next match

Chelsea put in a generally excellent display in defeating Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday, and appear to be getting healthier as they reach the international break. That said, Jose Mourinho made special mention of several players who played through injury during his post match comments after the game:

"I have to give special word to Ramires and Fabregas but also the medical department, they did fantastic work on them. Fabregas maybe is a problem for the next match. The medical department, with me, took the risk for this game but they are all examples of this team at the moment, working for everyone."

We all knew Ramires probably wasn't 100% fit after a lengthy absence due to injury, but to hear Cesc Fabregas included on the injury list is a bit of a surprise. The Spaniard has been off his game of late though, and if he's carrying an injury, that would explain quite a bit.

If Cesc is injured enough that his next game may be in doubt, I'd hope the Spanish national team takes extra-special care of him. I guess leaving Diego Costa out of the squad for the November break didn't eliminate the risk of being Del Bosque'd.
