Liverpool vs. Chelsea: Lineups and discussion

Alex Livesey/Getty Images

The last time these two teams met, Liverpool watched their title hopes slip away as they fell to Jose Mourinho's Blues. On Saturday, the two teams will meet again at Anfield under very different circumstances.

Last year at this time, a Chelsea team with nothing left to play for domestically was the spoiler to Brendan Rodgers' title challenge. This season, Chelsea are the front runners, while Liverpool are likely already focused on simply remaining in the top four, while hoping to do just enough to escape their Champions League group.

With that in mind, the clubs will line up as follows this afternoon at Anfield:

Chelsea XI: Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Azpilicueta, Matic, Fabregas, Ramires, Oscar, Hazard, Costa

Liverpool XI: Mignolet; Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno; Gerrard, Can, Henderson; Coutinho, Balotelli, Sterling

As always, keep things civil, and please don't link or direct to illegal streams of the game. Let's keep the undefeated season going.
