Sunderland vs. Chelsea: Second half thread

Alex Livesey/Getty Images

Both sides have hit the woodwork but chances have been few and far between so far in the match. Sunderland are defending very well and not really bothering to go forwards too often, which is making life quite hard -- lots of attempts to force the ball through the centre and long range shots with predictable results.

And so it's 0-0 at halftime. Willian hit the post on the counterattack; Santiago Vergini nearly got one for the hosts after flicking a deflected cross over Thibaut Courtois but onto the top of the crossbar. We need more in the second half if we want to keep this winning streak going. How about a goal or two, Chelsea?
