Chelsea loanee Victor Moses, who was enjoying an excellent season for Mark Hughes's Stoke City, has returned to the Blues for rehab and recovery following a scan that confirmed a significant injury. Moses is expected to be out 6-8 weeks after tearing his thigh muscle against Burnley last weekend.
By all indications, this is not an early termination of his season-long loan at the Potters; he's strictly back to better manage his injury. Given the super busy holiday schedule, the injury comes at just about the worst time for Stoke, currently sitting between Spurs and Liverpool in 11th place in the Premier League.

On a personal level, Moses is highly disappointed, which is understandable given his rejuvenation following a season lost sitting on the Liverpool bench.
Disappointed to be ruled out through injury but I'll work as hard as I can to be back as soon as possible. Thanks ... http://t.co/L0K7JR7tti
