Courtois, Costa shortlisted for team of the year

On Tuesday, UEFA named 40 finalists for their "team of the year". Two Chelsea players were named to that shortlist, both of whom spent last season playing for Atletico Madrid.

Thibaut Courtois is among the four goalkeepers named, though poor Iker Casillas found himself left out in the cold this time. Diego Costa was also nominated as a forward, where Luis Suarez was snubbed.
