We had a few lingering injury concerns coming out of the international break -- Ramires in particular was still battling through the same problem that he's been nursing for months -- but now that West Bromwich Albion has been dispatched and the squad is in Germany to take on Schalke, we're all apparently in much better shape:
Jose says there are no injury problems going into the game. #CFC

When you look at how other teams have been suffering from injuries (and also how Chelsea struggled when Diego Costa was out and Cesc Fabregas was only partially fit), it's not difficult to appreciate just how important the medical staff is to a modern football club. Our record over the past few seasons is extraordinary, and should we manage to keep up our form that will be in large part due to the smart way we're handling the health of our players.
And in the short term, giving the manager as many options as possible is never a bad thing.
