Hazard invades interview with amusing results

Chelsea put an interview with midfield stalwart Nemanja Matic up on the official site today. It's standard fare for the international break -- cute, especially if you like Matic, which every sane fan does, but not exactly worth of further comment. Until, that is, you get to the final question and answer:

Best piece of advice you received?

(Eden Hazard interjects: ‘watch Hazard videos on YouTube!’)

No, they told me to do everything not like Eden Hazard does!

-Source: ChelseaFC.com.

Which is hilarious by anyone's standards. Imagine a young player -- Charly Musonda, say -- going to Hazard for football advice, and Hazard solemnly handing him a binder which turns out to be a bunch of handwritten URLs for Youtube videos. Matic is rolling his eyes in the background. Musonda turns into the next Eden Hazard. It's perfect.

It would, however have been much more perfect with video. When the historians look back upon the year of 2014 they will undoubtedly tremble with righteous fury over the fact that the club failed to Vine this exchange and put it on the internet. I thought we were supposed to be social media savvy.
