How nice it is to have a top striker again. With much love and respect to Demba Ba and Samuel Eto'o, there's a big difference between that duo and the upper echelons of Europe's elite, and a club like Chelsea, with our ambitions, needs to have a centre forward whom everyone else genuinely fears. So signing Diego Costa wasn't a stroke of genius -- it was an obvious move to bring the club to where it needed to be -- but it was a very good one nonetheless.

Now that the Spainish international has gotten to the 10-goal mark in the Premier League (in early November, despite missing two matches and being below 100 percent fitness all season), it's time to celebrate his early career with the Blues. It's also pretty cool that almost everyone else despises him. We've never been in this for the love.
