After Chelsea's narrow win over Queens Park Rangers Didier Drogba was quizzed on the Blues' performance, and he gave exactly the answer you'd expect. Which is boring. But then someone had the inspired idea of asking the big Ivorian about something else: tomorrow's Manchester Derby:
If both teams could lose tomorrow I’d be happy! Both teams are a threat so a draw for me would be okay. United are still dangerous. I think it is just a matter of time for them to improve and I think they will improve so I expect them to be a threat as well.

Ok, so maybe if you want to be Serious About Football that quote is kind of boring too. But that sounds like being willfully curmudgeon-like to me: instead, I'm picturing Drogba idly doodling an asteroid crashing into the Etihad tomorrow, and that's a thought that makes me giggle.
The best part of the game, of course, is that even in the worst-case scenario -- a Manchester City win -- we're still six points clear of our most dangerous rivals in the title race. And that means we can relax and enjoy the football. We did our job, now we can watch and see if there really is a way both teams can lose a game (a draw would also be acceptable).
