We've already gushed about Eden Hazard in a few times since Sunday's 2-0 win against Arsenal -- can you blame us when he came up with a 90-minute performance that Mourinho called "very complete?" -- so I don't really have anything new to add.

While this is only Hazard's second Man of the Match vote win of the season, he's been in your top three fives times (from 9(1) appearances) and is tied with Cesc Fabregas for second-highest rated player on the season after Diego Costa's 8.1.  He may not be producing godly goal-scoring totals like Costa or godly assist totals like Fabregas, but make no mistake, Hazard's been excellent and is playing with the freedom of a man unburdened from being the sole hope of a Chelsea win.

Which makes a "magic card" performance like this one all the more fun.

As Joe said, our No.10-No.8-No.X hybrid marries an "insatiable work ethic with a bundle of creativity" and when he's at his best, he's ridiculously good.  The fact that he can go from games like he had against Bolton and Villa -- flicks, tricks galore -- to a game like this one -- dogged determination, pesky annoyance and the fly in every soup concocted by Arsenal -- is nothing short of amazing.

And he's still just 23!

"Arsenal were the first option due to a clause in the contract. We spoke with Wenger and he said that with Ozil they had this position well covered."

"From there, I had other very good offers and I looked for the best in the Premier League, which is where I wanted to go. I spoke with Jose Mourinho and he won me over, he convinced me, told me what I wanted to hear and from there everything was very quick. I hope that this new phase of my career goes phenomenally well."

-Cesc Fabregas; source: Independent

How's this for phenomenally well?  In the first seven Premier League games, Fàbregas has seven assists.  That equals the most Premier League assists any one Chelsea player had all last season!

OTHERS:
Courtois (6.8), Azpilicueta (7.6), Terry (7.7), Cahill (7.3), Ivanović (7.1), Matić (8.0), Schürrle (6.2), Costa (8.2)

SUBS:
Čech (7.9), Mikel (7.3), Willian (6.6)
