Date set for Derby game

Chris Brunskill

Chelsea were drawn away to Derby County for the Capital One Cup quarterfinals, and that means a trip to Pride Park (apparently it's been renamed the iPro Stadium and I missed it?) in mid-December. Today we get to find out exactly when in mid-December we'll be playing: 7:45 pm on Tuesday, December 16th. Naturally, Sky Sports will be broadcasting the affair.

That match is three days after the Hull City home game but should give us ample time to prepare for what's always a difficult trip to the Britannia Stadium the following Monday. Hopefully that means Jose Mourinho can play as strong a squad as possible -- the Rams are not to be underestimated and with the teams left in this competition we should now be playing to win it outright. Remember: we're just three rounds away from our first trophy of the season, which would be the first silverware of Mourinho's second spell at the club. Let's go get it.
