Manchester United vs. Chelsea: Second half thread

Laurence Griffiths

45 minutes are in the books as Chelsea take on Manchester United in Old Trafford, and while the game hasn't been nearly a frenetic as El Clasico on Saturday, it was a relatively entertaining first half.Still, it's scoreless at the break, and Chelsea will probably have to improve going forward if they want to get more than a point out of this match.

As is often the case with Jose Mourinho managed sides in big matches on the road, Chelsea set up somewhat conservatively early on. Instead of pressing hard and throwing bodies forward, the Blues seemed content to sit back, defend, and look to strike on the counter. Largely as a result, the game has been short of real quality chances thus far, though there have been more than a few set pieces and corners for Chelsea to attack.

As Mourinho makes adjustments with the squad in the dressing room, please continue to be civil and don't link or direct to illegal streams of the match. Thanks. Enjoy the second half.
