Manchester United vs. Chelsea: Lineups and discussion

Shaun Botterill

For much of Chelsea's recent past, the trip to Old Trafford has been one of the most anticipated fixtures of the season. While the ineptitude of David Moyes' squad last season has taken some of the luster off the fixture, it's still one of the trickier matches the club will have this season.

Making the trip more difficult is the injury situation, with Chelsea's striker corps banged up. We already knew that Loic Remy would be unavailable for this one, but it turns out that DIego Costa won't be ready to go either. Here's the lineup selected by Jose Mourinho for Saturday:

Chelsea XI: Courtois, Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Luis, Matic, Fabregas, Willian, Oscar, Hazard, Drogba

Chelsea bench: Cech, Zouma, Ake, Baker, Mikel, Salah, Schurrle

United are countering with the following:

United XI: De Gea, Rafael, Smalling, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Fellaini, Mata, Januzaj, Di Maria, Van Persie

United bench: Lindegaard, Blackett, Fletcher, Carrick, Herrera, A.Pereira, Wilson

As always, please keep things civil and don't link or direct to illegal streams.
