The Daily Hilario: Gameday

Your daily dose of off-topic shenanigans.

HEARTHSTONE:

Fired that ol' quagmire for the first time in a while.  Won four games in a row with the usual death rattle priest deck.  And then I lost to Hunter zoo.  Same as ever then.  Made it back to Rank 20, so I'll get my card back for October as well.  Hurray.

MEMORY LEAK:

Upgraded to OS X 10.10 Yosemite the other day and on most days since, I've had to restart at least once because my MacBook Pro (late 2008) would bog down to almost unusable status (which was messing with my world view since I hardly ever have to restart this beast).  Activity Monitor would show the CPU going nuts with the Windowserver, but turning all the new transparency frou-frous didn't seem to help.  Finally, I've found a solution!  Thank you random person on Apple forum for the fix to this mysterious problem.  Now I can get back to eking out more life from this six-year (6!) old computer.
