There's some good news on the injury front for Chelsea fans today, as a promising Chelsea youngster on loan has returned to first team training, after being stretchered off the pitch in his last match. Marco Van Ginkel looked to be somewhat seriously injured the last time we got to see him, but returned to the pitch this afternoon, according to AC Milan's official site.
Van Ginkel was injured in his first AC Milan appearance, a start against Empoli on September 23 which eventually ended as a 2-2 draw. He was also an unused sub in the 1-0 loss to Juventus, as well as a 5-4 victory over Parma.
While Marco trained today, I doubt he'll jump right back into the starting eleven after a several week injury layoff. More likely, Van Ginkel will find himself on the Milan bench when they face Hellas Verona this Sunday. Hopefully it will be a short stay on the bench, and he'll be starting matches again soon.
