Sweet summer child Oscar (dos Santos Emboaba Junior) may only be a few weeks over 23 years old -- and thus completely missed out on the '80s and most of the '90s -- but he's already a role model to younger players in his home country. Here's 20-year-old Adryan (Oliveira Tavares) with the cutesies:
"Oscar I had the opportunity to meet when the [national team] squads were together in Spain. He was in the Under-20s and I the Under-16s."
"Both players are really impressive and I seek to follow in their footsteps because they play in England. I admire them very much."

The second player Adryan's talking about is Philippe Coutinho, but he plays for Liverpool so we mustn't mention him. Plus, Oscar's obviously better because blue is better than red. It is known. Hey, don't look at me; it's science. You can't argue with science!
Adryan, by some work permitting dark magic (i.e. a Portuguese passport), is currently on loan at Leeds United from Flamengo. So that's step one of following in Oscar's footsteps. Step two: play an actual game for Leeds (he has zero first team minutes to his name so far).
