Diego Costa glad to end 'annoying' scoring drought

David Ramos

Not much can survive Diego Costa being annoyed at it, especially not a scoreless streak. The centre forward, off to the flyingest of flying starts at Stamford Bridge, has famously been less of hit on international duty. After snubbing Brazil for Spain, Costa flopped at the World Cup, and only managed to score his first international goal this weekend, snatching the third in a 4-0 rout of Luxembourg.

Obviously this frustrated the hitman:

It was pretty annoying not being able to score and it bothered me a lot. Hopefully things will go well now and I can start a new life.

While Chelsea fans are undoubtedly happy for Costa getting off the mark for Spain, I's suspect most of us are pretty pleased with his old life and don't see much need for significant changes. So don't be too eager for any sort of rebirth, alright, Diego? Thanks.
