Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that the injury suffered by Sergio Aguero on Wednesday will rule the striker out of action for a month. Aguero had to be helped off before halftime against Tottenham, after injuring his hamstring.
Chelsea are set to play City twice during the next month, with games scheduled for Monday, February 2 and Saturday, February 15. Both games are set to be played in Manchester, though a draw in the latter fixture would force a replay at Stamford Bridge. Depending on when that potential replay would be scheduled, Aguero could be available for that one.
City still have loads of attacking depth despite the injury to Aguero, and Monday will likely see us dealing with Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Negredo in his absence. Stevan Jovetic is also an option for Pellegrini's side.
