Mourinho confirms Tomas Kalas, Demba Ba will remain with Chelsea

The Chelsea boss confirmed that there will be no more January departures

During his Friday press conference, Jose Mourinho has confirmed that there will be no more first team players departing the club. After allowing Ryan Bertrand, Kevin De Bruyne, Michael Essien, and Juan Mata depart in January, Mourinho doesn't believe he can allow any more players to leave the club.

Ba had been heavily linked to a move to Turkey, while Kalas had been loosely linked to a loan move to see regular minutes. Despite the lack of playing time for both this season, Mourinho believes he needs both in the squad for the remainder of this season.

With Fernando Torres out for a few more weeks, Ba will likely see quite a few minutes in the near future. Kalas still finds himself further down the depth chart, and probably won't see too many minutes unless some injuries strike in defense.
