Chelsea drawn against Manchester City away in FA Cup fifth round proper

Shaun Botterill

Chelsea's quest for another FA Cup - and by FA Cup I mean the Chelsea Cup - remains alive and well after today's dominating performance against a listless and unthreatening Stoke City side.

Since we were the last match to be played this FA Cup weekend - though, to be absolutely precise, with replays between Nottingham Forest and Preston North End and Sheffield United and Fulham to come next weekend - we don't have to wait too long to find out whom we will face in the fifth round.

And the lucky side is for a date with Chelsea on Valentine's Day weekend is...Manchester City. But of course it is Manchester City. That's easily the toughest draw then. Gird your loins!

The rest of the draw for the matches currently scheduled for Saturday February 15th is as follows:

Sheffield Utd or Fulham vs. Nott'm Forest vs. Preston
Arsenal vs. Liverpool
Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Hull City
Cardiff City vs. Wigan Athletic
Sheffield Wednesday vs. Charlton Athletic
Sunderland vs. Southampton
Everton vs. Swansea City
