The more ridiculous rumour-mongerers of the media world have been snuffling around the edges of a story claiming that Eden Hazard will be looking to move on from Chelsea this summer, claiming that he told teammates that his future lies with Paris Saint-Germain. Obviously, those rumours are ridiculous to the point where we shouldn't even bother to rebut them; but they've actually led to the player himself saying some interesting things.
My French isn't strong enough to give a good translation of the teaser video for his interview with Telefoot, but here's what other more learned men are saying:
Eden #Hazard told TF1 he doesn't want to leave Chelsea. #CFC

#Hazard has told Telefoot he will not leave #Chelsea for #PSG this Jan "& even next summer I will not leave on my own accord". #CFC #GoalTZ

And so the rumour that Hazard was looking for a payday elsewhere has given us something marvellous -- news that one of the best players who's ever graced Stamford Bridge has no intention of leaving us. Hazard's continued evolution into a global superstar will happen under our watch. And how very wonderful that is.
