Thorgan Hazard's agent has been trying to secure the player a move to Anderlecht for several weeks, with the Belgian club issuing a bizarre statement earlier today confirming that they were after the player. The Belgian media is reporting that Thorgan Hazard has now joined his agent in pushing for a move to Anderlecht:

Franky Drury was reportedly asked about the situation earlier and didn't respond in a cheery manner:

Hazard is supposedly looking to move to a higher profile club, in hopes of improving his chances of making the Belgian squad for the World Cup. I'm not sure that he's really doing himself any favors with this push for a move however, as he's not coming off in a very positive light and won't really see any improved competition as a result.
One thing that seems clear at this point is that it might be time for Thorgan and his family to think about a new agent. Anderlecht were interested over the summer, but the agent's bizarre request for guaranteed club captaincy seemed to be a key reason Hazard ended up back at Zulte. That clause didn't sit well with Franky Drury, and Hazard ended up not taking the captaincy at the club despite having it guaranteed in his contract.
This whole situation is putting Chelsea in a bit of a spot, as they've already reached an agreement with Zulte Waregem on a season long loan. I can't imagine the Belgian side will willingly release him to join a title rival, and I can't imagine Chelsea have any reason to push for that move at this point either. How they deal with this will be interesting, and probably not a whole lot of fun.
