One of the major questions as the transfer deadline loomed was how Chelsea would handle the fact that they had one too many non-homegrown players for the Premier League squad rules. Demba Ba was tipped to go on loan, but if he didn't, that meant that we'd have something of a crunch on our hands. Obviously, he didn't.
The solution, as it turns out, was revealed by the squad Chelsea submitted to the league. Here's the full list.

Yes, Mr. Wulfert Cornelius van Ginkel still counts as an under-21. The club have registered pretty much every player on their books for the Premier League, including the ones they've sent out on loan, which has led to the strange situation of Romelu Lukaku appearing on both Everton and Chelsea's squad lists.
But there you have it. Hilario is sacrificed. Everything else is as expected.
