Tottenham vs. Chelsea: Preview, squad news, television listings, streaming info, and more

The Blues will be looking to make it three consecutive victories tomorrow as they take the short trip to North London to take on Tottenham Hotspur. Tottenham currently sit tied atop the Premier League table with 12 points, while Chelsea sit just behind their London rivals with 10. While the title certainly won't be decided by a fixture in September, it's a rather important result nonetheless and will tell us quite a bit about where both clubs are at the moment. Here's what you need to know ahead of this one:

Weather forecast: Mild temperatures, partly cloudy, and a 20% chance of rain doesn't sound too bad, does it?

Chelsea FC squad news: Marco van Ginkel will be missing the next six months or so due to a torn ACL, and will not be available for this tie. Tomas Kalas and Kenneth Omeruo are both back in training but unlikely to be fit enough yet for consideration (I'd expect both to be given outings with the U21 side before joining the first team). Those three aside, it appears to be all hands on deck.

Tottenham Hotspur squad news: Spurs have several injury concerns, including Danny Rose, Etienne Capoue, and Younes Kaboul. Capoue is definitely out, although Spurs are very deep in the midfield anyway and I'm not sure he'd be first choice. Kaboul is doubtful, although I'm not entirely certain he'd start this contest either.

The one player that could make a difference due to his fitness is Danny Rose, who is clearly AVB's best option at left back. He's probably going to play, but his fitness will be something to watch. That could be an area for CHelsea to exploit, and I'm sure Jose Mourinho will be well aware of this as well.

Television listings: In the US, NBCSN and Mun2 will have live broadcasts of the game.  In the UK, as usual for early matches, you'll have to find BT Sport 1, while Indian viewers can tune into ESPN HD or Star Sports 2 HD. Listings in other areas can be found here.
