Eden Hazard fit to face Everton

Julian Finney

Eden Hazard's Achilles problem will not prevent him from facing Everton, according to the Daily Mail. The paper, citing information from 'a senior member' of Belgium's medical staff, are claiming that the 22-year-old will be able to train this week and will be fully fit for Saturday's match at Goodison Park.

Obviously that's good news, because an Eden-Hazard-less Chelsea are a far less fun kind of Chelsea than the alternative.

Although we probably didn't need Hazard to get three points from the Toffees, the fact that he's recovered so quickly means that this isn't going to be a long-term issue, and that's the real positive here. Chelsea need Hazard fit to challenge on all fronts, and him playing at anything less than 100 percent would be dangerous. In other words: Yay.
