Int'l Champions Cup - Chelsea vs. A.C. Milan: Second Half Thread

Hey, it's the second half of our semifinal in the Jose Mourinho Cup© (I see you again, Peezy).

Stanley Chou

Well, that was highly enjoyable.

A very entertaining - and physical - 45 minutes have come to a close in the NY-NJ area, with Chelsea leading AC Milan by a 1-0 scoreline on the strength of a lovely move finished off by Kevin De Bruyne. The goal, as most of you who witnessed it know, was superb, with the silky Eden Hazard squaring for the young Belgium on around 30 minutes. Demba Ba played a pivotal role in the goal as well, providing a brilliant decoy run across the box to free up De Bruyne on the back side.

Elsewhere, Branislav Ivanovic had himself a grand time in the opening half. The Serbian was everywhere, including in the penalty area where he nearly scored very early on with a cheeky back-heel. I like it

All in all, a positive start to tonight's proceedings. Now, let's see what Jose has in store for the second half. Cue the mass substitutions.
