Bayern Munich vs. Chelsea, UEFA Super Cup: Second half thread

The Blues are having a far better game than they did in the same fixture last season

Alexander Hassenstein

The first half of the 2013 UEFA Super Cup is complete, and the comments section of our game thread is overflowing. Because of that, we have a fresh new thread for you to use in which to discuss the game.

Chelsea got out to a quick start behind a fantastic goal on the counter. Eden Hazard's run caused Bayern all sorts of problems, and after Andre Schurrle received the ball, he found the wide open Fernando Torres to simply slot the ball into the corner.

Falcao had already netted a hat trick by this point in last year's Super Cup, so this has been a far better showing from the Blues. Let's hope it continues in the second half of play, and that we manage to bring another trophy back with us to London.

Please continue to keep the thread free of links to illegal streams, and treat each other with respect. Thanks, and let's go Blues!
