The weirdest Jose Mourinho news you'll see all day

Shaun Botterill

Most of our attention might have been focused on the UEFA Champions League draw and the leadup to the Super Cup in Prague, but something far more important has emerged in Chelsea-land that we cannot in good conscience allow to pass by unremarked upon: The already rather animated Jose Mourinho is being turned into a cartoon.

You want proof? I'll give you proof!

You can catch 'Mourinho and the Special Ones'... I don't know, somewhere on Portuguese television, I guess. The plot appears to be football related, and there'll be a trading card game as well, according to the Daily Mail. Mourinho himself claims that the series "truly combines education and entertainment", which I assume is code for 'is hilarious'.

This, of course, is not the first time a Chelsea star has appeared in the media. Marko Marin starred in Peter Jackson's epic film The Hobbit last winter, and is set to reprise his role for the second installment this December.
