Chelsea draw Swindon in League Cup

The League Cup draw for the third round is out, and Chelsea will be travelling to Swindon Town in their first domestic cup game of the season, with the match taking place on September 24th/25th. It's not a sexy game by any means -- League One opposition never is -- but it shouldn't be too taxing for the Blues, and this will be a chance to get the younger players some important first-team minutes.

Other Premier League teams, most of whom were forced to play in the second round, had it much harder. Here's the full draw:

Manchester United vs. Liverpool
Sunderland vs. Peterborough
West Ham United vs. Cardiff City
Manchester City vs. Wigan Athletic
Burnley vs. Nottingham Forest
Newcastle United vs. Leeds United
Southampton vs. Bristol City
West Bromwich Albion vs. Arsenal
Swindon Town vs. Chelsea
Tranmere Rovers vs. Stoke City
Watford vs. Norwich City
Aston Villa vs. Tottenham Hotspur
Hull City vs. Huddersfield
Leicester City vs. Derby County
Birmingham City vs. Swansea City
Fulham vs. Everton

At least four more Premier League sides will be out of the competition by the fourth round. Should be interesting.
