Laurent Blanc confirms that Edinson Cavani "will soon be" with PSG

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu ... n.

I see you.
I see you.
Clive Mason

Filtering out of France are the following words, spoken into the microphones of beIN Sport:

[Cavani?] Il sera bientôt avec nous.

-Laurent Blanc; source: beIN Sport

Cavani? He will soon be with us. I presume Blanc dropped the mic after that one. Or was that just somebody dropping an anvil on my heart?

After all the months of speculation, Real Madrid, Manchester City, and Chelsea have all been usurped by the sudden whirlwhind of Paris Saint-Germain. Like some mythical beast out of the pre-FFP era, the French took care of business seemingly in just a few a days.

So no Cavani for us. And no Falcao for us. No Mario Gomez for us. Presumably no Lewandowski for us either.

Instead it's Torres for us and Torres is Torres. And it's Ba for us and Ba developed a major case of the finishing yips at the tail end of last season. And it's Lukaku for us. Can he handle the pressure? I sure hope so.
