Oscar didn't make it into the Confederations Cup Best XI alongside Chelsea teammates Fernando Torres and David Luiz, but he doesn't leave Brazil without personal silverware. The 21-year-old has picked up a pair of awards from ESPN Brazil, including 'best goal scored in Europe' (bet you can't guess which goal that was) and what appears to be an award for the best Europe-based Brazilian player.
That second one is a bigger deal -- he has competition from the likes of Thiago Silva, Dante, Lucas Moura and David Luiz -- and although I'm sure Neymar will be sweeping that award from now until the end of time thanks to his move to Barcelona, at least Oscar's won it now. It's just more affirmation that our little guy is one of the brightest talents in one of the world's top footballing countries, and I can't wait to see what he does in the future.
