Going from Champions League winner to last place in the Premier League is no easy feat, but that's exactly what Jose Bosingwa managed last year. Starting at right back in Munich thanks to the suspension of Branislav Ivanovic, the victory over Bayern was Bosingwa's last game as a Chelsea player -- he was released and signed by Queens Park Rangers three months later.
If he'd kept his head down and worked hard for QPR, that'd probably be the last we ever spoke of Lionel Messi's most fiendish nemesis, but that's actually the opposite of what happened. Once at Loftus Road, Bosingwa proceeded to muck absolutely everything up. From their perspective, anyway. From ours, being an over-paid, entitled and generally useless player who served as a hugely negative influence on the dressing room and helped Harry Redknapp and company get relegated before being released again was pretty darn funny.
Agent Jose Bosingwa, your contribution to the Chelsea cause last season will always be remembered. Godspeed. Give Malouda some cuddles at Trabzonspor for us.
