That was super fun for a while.
Debutant Bertrand Traore got things rolling with a smart finish into the low corner from Kevin De Bruyne's cross. KDB then took things into his own hands and scored an absolute blockbuster from about 20 yards out. Sadly, he broke himself on the landing and had to be stretchered off. No fun.
Islam Feruz came on for De Bruyne, which probably means that the originally scheduled second half team of Cech; Cole, Cahill, Kalas, Wallace; Van Ginkel, Ramires; Schurrle, Hazard, Moses; Ba will get reshuffled a bit.
With the final kick of the first half, Romelu Lukaku scored Chelsea's third from a lovely pass by the impressive young Traore.
