Chelsea FC vs Singha All Star XI: Preview, TV information, lineups, streaming, and more

The Blues start their preseason tomorrow...Hooray!

Thananuwat Srirasant

Chelsea's preseason gets underway tomorrow, as Jose Mourinho's side will be playing the Singha All Star XI in Bangkok. That's about all the hyping I'm going to do for this one, here's the when, where, and how to watch:

Date/Time: Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 14:00 BST (9:00 a.m. EST)

Venue: Rajamangala National Stadium, Bangkok, Thailand

TV Information: If you live in the United States or the UK, the letters 'S', 'O', and 'L' are the first that come to mind. There are some places on the planet that are in luck though, and you can check to see if you happen to live in one of those places here.

Online: ChelseaTV

Chelsea News: There isn't much guessing to this one for Blues fans, as Jose Mourinho has already told us exactly what he's planning to do. He'll be sending the team out playing a 4-2-3-1 formation, and the lineups for both the first and second halves can be found here.

Singha All Star XI Team News: I watched the entire friendly against Manchester United, and still couldn't tell you a single thing that stands out about this team. I can say three things with 100% certainty though:

  • The Singha All Star XI will feature eleven players most have never heard of at the start of the game
  • Not one of those eleven players will likely ever be good enough to play for Chelsea
  • No matter how badly Chelsea thrash this group tomorrow, they still beat Manchester United 1-0 just a few days ago

With that in mind, sit back, grab some popcorn, and find a way to enjoy the game. It's good to be a Chelsea fans recently, so let's have some fun with it.
