Romelu Lukaku hasn't done much of anything in a Chelsea shirt yet, but he's one of my favourite prospects regardless. He's talented enough to go far, should he work for it, and he's also a sensible enough person to recognise that that means the ball's in his court.
You never know in football but my mind is in Chelsea now and I have come back to do well in pre-season and if I do a good pre-season, I think I will have a place in the squad and hopefully in the starting 11.
Last year I had a great season at West Brom and I think have the qualities to do it here, but it is up to me. If I don't do well here, then loan again.

I've said this dozens of times about Lukaku, and I'm not going to stop now -- it's impossible to give him enough praise for his level-headed approach to football. Whether or not he'll end up in the starting 11, I don't know, especially since Chelsea could easily bring in a striker this summer, but it's really fun to have a player on the books who takes full responsibility for getting a place in the side. There's no entitlement here.
The loan stuff isn't news, of course -- Mourinho's confirmed that Lukaku (along with Tomas Kalas and Kevin de Bruyne) will be part of the squad news season. I just like reading what Lukaku has to say, because he's awesome.
