Our absolute favourite thing about meaningless international matches that are barely a step above friendlies is seeing Chelsea starters leave the pitch on stretchers. Wait that's our least favourite thing. Especially when said player is David Luiz, who made the unfortunate mistake of headbutting Thiago Silva on a clearance and ended up covered in blood and on a stretcher. That he finished a game is probably a testament to how few functioning brain cells are required for David Luiz to play football*.
*See, we're mean to players we like too. BIAS.
After the match, the centre back confirmed that his nose was broken and that he'll need to go under the knife:
Yes, my nose is broken, but that's part of the game. Now I'll have to wait until the end of the competition and undergo a surgery to fix it.

I assume this means that he'll keep playing, which means that David Luiz will probably join the ranks of Petr Cech, Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and (technically) Andre Schurrle in being fitted for one of those carbon fibre facemasks. ZAVIZZZZZ LUIZ.
PS: Get well soon buddy. Don't enjoy the life too much. Stop headbutting Thiago Silva.
