Just another lazy Sunday, but we have two matches at the Confederations Cup to tell you about.
First, it's draw specialists Mexico vs. bearded geniuses Italy (3 P.M. EDT), then it's tiki-taka Spain vs. tidey-bitey Uruguay (6 P.M. EDT). I know, it's super weird for the USA audience that these aren't at some random time at the crack of dawn.
Plenty of Chelsea interest of course in the second one. Spain might feature the entire trio of Juan Mata, Cesar Azpilicueta, and winner of all Golden Boots Fernando Torres. Uruguay will certainly start Edinson Cavani (sans beard, for now).
One interesting note about Italy: all but one of their players (backup goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu) ply their trade in the domestic league. I actually find that somewhat impressive.
Discuss.
