Things were going rather swimmingly, Chelsea grabbing the early goal thanks to the Magic of the #11 shirt then creating several more decent openings. Eden Hazard was being tricky, sneaky, awesome and even tracked back to defend while knocking Spurs defenders over like pinballs and attempting to rearrange Dawson's face with a howitzer.
Just when things appeared comfortable, Adebayor pulled something special out of his hat and we were back even.
Gareth Bale started to threaten, and Chelsea were looking not so impressive. But then Torres, sans mask, held the ball up well (not for the first time), released the sprinting (redundant!) Ramires who first-timed a shot past Lloris into the far corner.
A bit of frantic finish to the half, but it remained 2-1 to the good guys.
UP THE CHELS!
