A view from the enemy - Part I: Manchester United fan on Benitez, Terry and Torres

Ahead of Sunday's must win game at Old Trafford, we talk to Dale from Stretty news.

Ian Walton

Dale from the excellent Stretty News provides us with a view from the enemy.

How does it feel to be Champions?

Fantastic. It was our priority this season and we have won it in style. The heartbreak of losing out on the final day of last season made our young players more determined to prove critics wrong and I loved watching some of them blossom.

How would you feel if Benitez took over from Sir Alex Ferguson?

Ha. That prick won't get anywhere near our club. Yes, Malcolm Glazer and his sons know zilch about football, but they would be well advised to never go down that route. Not sure what Abramovich and his posse were thinking...

What do you make of Chelsea fans treatment of Benitez?

I understand it. Can you imagine how bad he would get it if he became manager of United one day? Million times worse.

Do you feel sorry for Torres or do you enjoy watching him suffer in a Chelsea shirt?

Torres was never a player I liked, but in a way I feel sorry for him. When you learn how to ride a bike the skill stays with you. Whatever happened Torres, his confidence has completely gone. It's a mystery.

If you could have one or two players from Chelsea, who would you take?

Give us Mata and leave it at that. He is a cracking player.

What do you think of Chelsea in general as a club?

The managerial policy annoys me more than anything. You won't maintain success if your stability, manager wise, is all over the shop which it is.

The constant backing of Terry and the booing of the Ferdinand brothers... well, that's just embarrassing. We know exactly what you are.

Who should be to blame for Chelsea's poor season?

Abramovich. He sacked Di Matteo a few months after winning the Champions League, and then appointed Benitez. Disaster waiting to happen.

Can we expect to see a full strength United XI on the weekend even though the league has already been won?

Yeah, I think you'll see a full strength side on Sunday. The league is already won but it would be nice to finish on a canter.

Can you see Chelsea challenging for the title next season?

Ask me in August when I see who's brought in. Manager and players.

And finally, how do you see the game going and what will the score be?

Predictions are a pet hate of mine. I just end up jinxing it.

Dale also conducted his own A View From The Enemy which you can read here.
