Assuming I had a £100M kitty to work with, this is what my summer shopping spree would look like. First thing we need to consider would be the formation. Despite the fact that we are using a 4-2-3-1 now, I believe a 4-3-3 would be our most effective formation. Our present team lacks quality depth and any strengthening of the squad would have to be in key areas with emphasis on the midfield. Considering the fact that we don’t want to be struggling for champions league positions with the like s of spurs and arsenal, we cannot afford to be too prudent with our purchases as our team pales in comparison to Europe’s top sides.
OUT (LOAN)
Kakuta: I would refrain from selling him to avoid another nemanja matic type of situation. Another loan might do the trick.
Lukaku & KDB: Should be recalled to the first team as reward for successful loan spells.
PVA: Personally I believe PVA is better than betrand, will loan him again preferably to a PL club.
Piazon: Should be loaned back to Malaga where he would probably get more playing time once Isco is sold.
Courtois: Loaned back to Atletico Madrid.
Chalobah: Loaned to a premier league club
McEachran: Loaned to a top league where he will get adequate playing time to improve his development.
Nathan ake: Loaned out
Lewis Baker: Loaned out to the championship.
Kenneth Omeruo: Loaned out to a more competitive league.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek: Loaned out to the championship.
Andreas Christensen: Loaned out to the championship.
Thorgan Hazard: Loaned to Anderlecht.
Tomas Kalas: A premier league loan will be in order.

Mikel Obi: Mikel will not improve beyond where he is right now and I think it is in the best interest of the club to cut ties with him. Sold for £16M
