Chelsea vs. Everton: Lineups and Game Thread

Michael Regan

Game 69. Probably the last in a long season. This should be one of the more relaxing ones, and the lineup reflects that. Nathan Ake gets the start in midfield, and we could see the full debut of Danish centre half Andreas Christensen, who's done very well with the youth team this season. We also have both Demba Ba and Fernando Torres starting, which is new.

Ninety minutes to go before this slog is over. This day last year was much better.

Chelsea starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Petr Cech; Ashley Cole, David Luiz, Gary Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic; Nathan Ake, Frank Lampard; Fernando Torres, Juan Mata, Oscar; Demba Ba.

Substitutes from: Ross Turnbull, Cesar Azpilicueta, Paulo Ferreira, Marko Marin, Yossi Benayoun, Andreas Christensen, Victor Moses.

Everton starting lineup (4-4-1-1): Tim Howard; Leighton Baines, Sylvain Distin, Phil Jagielka, Seamus Coleman; Steven Pienaar, Darron Gibson, Marouane Fellaini, Steven Naismith; Kevin Mirallas; Victor Anichebe.

Substitutes from: Jan Mucha, Tony Hibbert, Johnny Heitinga, Bryan Oviedo, Nikica Jelavic, Ross Barkley, Shane Duffy.
