All our eyes should be on tomorrow's matchup with one of this season's bogey teams, but before then, there's the small matter of Saturday Premier League football.
Manchester City start us off bright and early as they host West Ham, but the big one is Wigan vs. Tottenham Hotspur, one of four kicking off at the traditional 3 P.M. spot. Wigan Athletic currently sit in the relegation zone, but their last-gasp escapes from there are legendary and I expect no different this season. Spurs will have their work cut out for them. The North London club is currently fifth, one point behind Chelsea and two points behind Arsenal in third. Arsenal have played one more match than either Chelsea or Spurs, but they'll be in action later this weekend in the Robin van Persi Bowl.
Saturday's slate in the Premiership finishes with Newcastle vs. Liverpool, which should pose no objection to switching over to the Madrid derby in Spain.
Discuss.
