Only one match is on the Premier League's schedule for this Tuesday but it's a doozy. Third place Arsenal, having accumulated one point and one match more than Chelsea, host fifth place Everton, who may still be in with a shout for the top four mixer. Three unlikely points for Everton would put them level with both Spurs and Chelsea, albeit with having played one more and two more matches, respectively. Both teams are in excellent form - first vs. third in the Premier League's form table - and the stakes are a high: a recipe for excitement.
Speaking of excitement, there's also Championship football! Normally, I don't think we'd care much beyond the teams with Chelsea loanees, but chances are good that Cardiff City will seal the Championship ... umm ... championship. Actually, they just could ensure promotion to the Premier League for next season as they only need a draw at home as they face Charlton Athletic. Is it time to rename it the English & Welsh Premier League yet?
Discuss.
