Manchester United vs. Chelsea, FA Cup: Team News & Preview.

A very angry Manchester United side against an out of form Chelsea team? What can possibly go wrong?

I think it would be fair to say I'm not overly confident ahead of Chelsea's trip to Manchester where a FA Cup semi-final place is up for grabs. Manchester United are in a very, very bad mood at the moment and they're going to want to take that out on someone. Unfortunately for Chelsea, I have a feeling it is going to be them.

Chelsea's performance on Thursday night was awful, there's no other way to put it and if they perform at a similar level at Old Trafford on Sunday then a very angry Manchester United team will destroy them. It is worth remembering that Chelsea did knock Manchester United out of the Carling Cup earlier this season. However, I don't expect United to play their reserve team on Sunday like they did back in October as Ferguson has made it clear that the FA Cup is very important to his team this season.

It's worth noting that Chelsea were founded 108 years ago on Sunday so hopefully the club will celebrate their birthday in style.

Venue: Old Trafford, Manchester, England.

Date/Time: Sunday, March 10th. 16.30 GMT; 11.30 EST; 22.00 IST.

TV Information: ITV (UK); Fox Soccer (USA)

Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed that Wayne Rooney will be involved in his press conference on Friday. You can also expect players such as Kagawa and Hernandez to come into the starting line up. Hernandez is well known for his multiple goals against Chelsea, hopefully he won't find the net on Sunday. RvP has looked very jaded in United's recent games so I expect him to be rested on Sunday as I'm sure Ferguson believes that Hernandez and Rooney are good enough to see off a Chelsea side playing very poorly.

The Interim One rested Ashley Cole, Victor Moses and Ramires on Thursday so we can expect to see all of them involved on Sunday. Juan Mata started the game as a substitute so I presume he will be involved from the start on Sunday.

Torres put in 90 minutes on Thursday night, he didn't do a lot but he was on the pitch 90 minutes so Demba Ba will probably start. Benitez is reluctant to play Terry more than once a week so unfortunately JT may have to watch on from the bench at Old Trafford.

The team which I believe would give us the best chance at Old Trafford would be: Cech; Cole, Terry, Ivanovic, Azpilicueta; Mikel, Luiz; Hazard, Mata, Oscar; Ba.

Will we see that team? Highly unlikely. Let me know what team you would start if you were Benitez in the comments section below.

I shall be at the game on Sunday so let's hope we're all celebrating an unlikely Chelsea victory come Sunday evening.
