Manchester United vs Chelsea, FA Cup Quarterfinal: Lineups and gamethread

This should be fun

Julian Finney

Chelsea head to Old Trafford on Sunday with a trip to Wembley on the line. Both clubs are coming off of difficult losses in Europe mid-week, although United's chances of silverware this season still look very good.

As always, Rafa Benitez is certain to send Chelsea out in a 4-2-3-1 setup. He's selected the following players to for this go at making it work:

Chelsea: Petr Cech, Cesar Azpilicueta, Gary Cahill, David Luiz, Ashley Cole, Ramires, Frank Lampard, Victor Moses, Oscar, Juan Mata, Demba Ba

Chelsea subs: Ross Turnbull, Branislav Ivanovic, Ryan Bertrand, Fernando Torres, Eden Hazard, John Obi Mikel, John Terry

Manchester United: David de Gea, Rafael, Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Patrice Evra, Tom Cleverley, Michael Carrick, Luis Nani, Wayne Rooney, Shinji Kagawa, Javier Hernandez

United subs: Ben Amos, Robin van Persie, Antonio Valencia, Anderson, Nemanja Vidic, Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck

Knowing the way Benitez generally approaches cup ties, I'd expect to see an approach similar to the one we saw on Thursday. I'd love to be proved wrong, and I suppose there is always a chance.

As always, keep it clean and don't link or direct to illegal streams. Let's go Blues!
