England U21 open thread: McEachran starts for England, Chalobah on the bench

It's friendly time! Hooray!

Tom Shaw

Tomorrow is the big day this week as far as senior national team games go, but Chelsea have a few youngsters that should be in action today. For those of us in the US, both Josh McEachran and Nathaniel Chalobah should be reasonably easy to watch. The England/Sweden U21 tie will be show live on both Fox Soccer Plus and Fox Soccer 2 Go, with the game kicking off at 2:30 PM ET. McEachran was named to the starting lineup for that tie, while Chalobah was named to the bench.

Some others of you will probably be able to find the Belgium/Spain U21 contest, which kicks off at 2:00 PM ET (19:00 London time). Thorgan Hazard is in that squad, and will be on the bench for this one. He'll be joined on the bench by Jordan Lukaku, the younger brother of the Kraken.

Colchester United should round out the Chelsea connections this afternoon, with both Billy Clifford and Sam Walker expected to start as they host Swindon. I doubt many of you will be able to watch that tie, but more power to you if your capable of finding a stream.

Speaking of streams, please don't link to illegal ones here, or direct others to where they can be fond. Many will no doubt use them, but we don't need to see those details here. Keep it clean, have fun, and let's go future Blues!
