Further Divisions by Zero / FA Cup Saturday Slumber Party / Open Thread

Today is February 16. This is your open thread. Talk amongst yourselves.

Alex Livesey

Can you feel the magic in the air tonight? It is Saturday where we are (and Chelsea only play tomorrow). Is it enough for us wide-eyed wanderers, all the divisions by zero that we've got this far? Can feel the FA Cup magic in the air tonight? And how it'll be laid to rest. It's enough to make Lutons and Oldhams believe they're the very best.

Sorry, Elton.

First up, 7:45 A.M. EST: Luton Town vs. Millwall - here's the true magic, whether you're looking for the Cinderella story of a non-league side defeating first and (in this case) second tier opposition, or whether you're looking for just a bit of history. Meanwhile mid-table Millwall have two Nigerians on the books, vice-captain and well known Danny Shittu and on-loan and unknown Dammi Shitta. Whoa.

At 10:00 A.M. EST, MK Dons vs. Barnsley and Arsenal vs. Blackburn follow. Not much magic here, unless you're hoping for a Patrick Bamford appearance for MK Dons or if you're wondering just how much Arsenal might care about actually winning a trophy.

Lastly, at 1 P.M. EST: Oldham Athletic vs. Everton. Oldham upset the red half of Liverpool in the previous round and now, with a new manager at the helm, they'll try to do the same to the blue half. Fun!
